The wink is amazing. It is just the right size and tightens perfectly. I've worn it for trail marathons, 50ks, and lots of multi day stage races. It suited me perfect for the TransRockies and all but one stage I never had to stop and refill. The pockets on the front and back are super convenient and spacious. I'm small and compact and this fits perfect.

Very, very happy with this pack. I only run very short distances, mainly when my search dog is on a track, but still wanted something that was light, didn’t bounce, could carry a fair amount of water (for me and my dog) and a bit of other stuff. After some research, I picked this pack and am happy I did. - Fits short women, I’m 5’3” and that definitely limits which hydration packs fit. - Vest approach with four pockets (not just two) to hold and access small stuff without taking the pack off. Some things I want are my GPS, print-out maps, pen and notebook (they all fit). - More storage than Nathan Intensity, specs say 275 cu in vs 175 cu in. but seems like more, plus nice shock cord and pocket on the back for more stuff. Even seems bigger than the Nathan HPL #020 which says 275 cu in capacity. The UltrAspire Omega vest pack has more strorage (500 cu in) but I didn’t find it until after I bought my Wink. Also, the Omega doesn’t come in a small /women’s version so I don’t know how it would fit. - Bladder has a roll top so I can poor water out of it into my dog’s dish when her bottle is empty. (Probably not high on a runner’s list, but it’s helpful for us.) - Possible cons – sternum strap is not adjustable and there’s a lower strap that might be too much. For me, it fits.

I have been running ultras for just about 4 years and this is by far my favorite hydration pack. It is so comfortable, it almost feels like I am not wearing anything at all. I love the bladder and the fact that the tube has an insulation sleeve. Lots of storage and very easy access to front pockets. This pack is very easy to get on and off. Although I have not yet raced with it, I imagine it will make for an easy transition at aid stations. The only reason I did not give this pack five stars is because I do not love the velcro/clip set up for the hydration tube. I find it to be slightly awkward to maneuver while running, If this pack had a magnet set up similar to other packs I own, it would get five stars hands down! I highly recommend this pack.

I have tried several hydration packs most of them were too large and to cumbersome. I love, love, love, love love my WINK!!!!! It is the perfect fit. It doesn't bounce. It fits perfectly on my back and around my waist all the pocket are strategically placed and easy to access. Come on ladies let's give UD some love because they gave us alot of love.
