I have had this pack for over a year now. For me the front pockets is the best thing about the pack. The top pocket is big enough for a smart phone, keys, and wallet. Its very light and comfortable. I don't use the ultimate direction reservoir, because of the two I have had they both leaked (note: I have not used the new reservoir). I use a platypus reservoir in my packs. I use the Diablo for days I need more than 2L. The Diablo is my main pack for mtn biking. Only if there was other color options.

This is the first UD pack I have used and I can honestly say that I was a little wary about the whole Idea. But after studying around with several packs I made the plunge and getting in some longer runs with the Wasp I and extremely pleased with how it performs. It did everything it says it should as it should. Stayed in place, didn't rub, bounce or chaff, and the easy access pockets make getting food or my camera a very simple process. Easily the most efficient way to carry larger amounts of fluid/gear on any long day whether that be running or hiking! 5/5!

I had never run in this pack and took it to the Grand Canyon. I needed to be able to carry a little more than my old pack. The Wasp held everything I needed for a full day out (mostly food) and was super comfortable. It felt great even going down technical terrain, and I had no problem with it rubbing or bouncing - with a full or empty bladder. The pockets in the front were great for easy access to food and radios. I would definitely suggest the Wasp as a solid pack for anyone heading out on a long journey.
